Lark Steward
Counseling Intern
she/her

I believe that counseling is a co-operative and professional relationship based on trust and empathy that promotes growth, wellbeing, and empowerment for the client. I hope to create a safe space where clients can gain a better understanding of themselves and their experience while also helping them to develop and implement the skills needed to improve their lives.
My goal is to support clients through a variety of modalities that are adaptable to their unique situations. There is no one “right” combination and each client can expect to receive a tailored approach to care. This support is offered under supervision, within my current scope of practice as a counseling intern, and is also rooted in psychodynamic theory and interventions.
I am committed to upholding the values and standards of the counseling profession including those related to confidentiality, privacy and safety. I am currently permitted to serve adult populations in Illinois with mild-presenting symptoms and concerns.
Available for session in the Morris office and via telehealth.
