Christina Christensen, LCPC
Psychotherapist

The breadth and depth of my professional experience includes working with adolescents and adults in inpatient, outpatient, correctional and educational settings. I have worked in private practice for the last decade, providing services to clients of all backgrounds who are seeking to gain a deeper understanding of themselves and the unconscious processes that influence how they show up in the world.

Using a person-centered approach, I have experience treating a spectrum of concerns, including anxiety, depression, life transitions, trauma, grief and loss, relationship conflict and athletes looking to improve their mental game. Modalities I use include cognitive behavioral therapy, IFS informed practices, mindfulness, and acceptance and commitment therapy. I also offer a therapeutic modality called Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP), the use of ketamine as a complement to psychotherapy. I deliver KAP in my practice in partnership with an organization called Journey Clinical, which has a specialized medical team that determines eligibility for KAP, prescribes the ketamine, & supports us in monitoring outcomes.

I believe therapy is a professional healing relationship in which you are invited to share your struggles and hopes and to self-reflect honestly. I will support and challenge you to identify and process emotions, transform negative beliefs and patterns, and tap into your innate wisdom to live a more authentic, fulfilling life.
