Many people come to therapy without a specific diagnosis but recognize a desire for something different—they may feel stuck, disconnected, unfulfilled, or uncertain about their purpose and direction. Therapy can be a space to better understand yourself, explore patterns that may be holding you back, feel heard and validated, and develop practical tools for navigating life’s challenges.
I have 20+ years of experience helping adults and adolescents navigate depression, generalized anxiety, performance anxiety, trauma, attachment-related challenges, life transitions, women’s issues, grief and loss, and relationship concerns. I work best with clients who are open to self-reflection, willing to be honest with themselves, and motivated to create meaningful change.
My approach is grounded in compassion, curiosity, and gentle challenge. I draw from evidence-based approaches such as CBT, IFS-informed practices, mindfulness, and ACT, incorporating the tools and strategies that best fit each person. My goal is to create a therapeutic relationship where you feel understood while gaining insight, developing skills, and moving toward a more authentic and fulfilling life.
I also offer Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP), an emerging approach that combines ketamine treatment with psychotherapy. Research on ketamine-assisted therapy continues to grow, with promising findings suggesting it may be helpful for some individuals experiencing depression, anxiety, trauma-related concerns, and other mental health challenges. KAP is not a replacement for psychotherapy, but rather a potential complement that may support deeper therapeutic work for appropriate clients. I provide KAP in partnership with Journey Clinical, whose specialized medical team determines eligibility, manages prescribing, and supports outcome monitoring while we focus on the therapeutic process. Additional information about KAP, including the process and frequently asked questions, is available on our website www.authenticpllc.com.
